Contractor & project support

A clear scope and a coordinated team

We work with project teams to deliver defined electrical installation packages and support larger programmes. The approach starts with agreeing responsibilities, drawings, material supply, access and handover requirements. Whether you need support on one site or a series of projects, we focus on communication, planned delivery and keeping the work aligned with the agreed scope.

How we can help

Practical support.
Clearly defined scope.

01

Electrical installation packages

Defined packages covering containment, cabling, distribution equipment and associated electrical installation works.

02

Solar installation support

Electrical installation, testing and remedial support for commercial PV projects, with responsibilities agreed before mobilisation.

03

EV infrastructure projects

Charger replacements, distribution and cabling works, and installation support for workplace and wider charging programmes.

04

Project coordination

Site communication, agreed progress updates and handover information to support the wider project team's programme.

A defined package from the outset

Give the site team a clear brief to work from.

Agree the boundaries of the installation package

A useful subcontract package makes the interfaces clear before the team arrives on site. We discuss which drawings and specifications apply, where the installation begins and ends, and who is responsible for materials, access equipment and site coordination. This helps both parties understand what has been priced and what information is still needed.

Packages can cover commercial electrical installation or defined elements of solar PV projects. Aegis is based in Nottingham and supports suitable projects across the UK by arrangement. Share the site locations, programme and expected duration so availability and the practical delivery requirements can be considered together.

Plan mobilisation around the wider contractor programme

Electrical installation often depends on work by other trades and on access to particular areas. Before mobilisation, we discuss site readiness, delivery arrangements, working hours and any planned shutdowns that affect the agreed package. For programmes covering several sites, consistent information at each location helps the work be priced and coordinated on a comparable basis.

We can support defined EV charging infrastructure and lighting installation packages alongside wider electrical work. If site conditions or the required scope change, early communication gives the project team an opportunity to review the programme and agree the commercial and practical implications before additional work proceeds.

Set out progress communication and handover requirements

The information required at handover should be discussed at the start of the package. Tell us what drawings, test information, photographs or project records your team expects, and how these need to be presented. Responsibilities for inspection, commissioning and certification should be made clear within the agreed scope rather than assumed to sit with a particular party.

We also agree how day-to-day site queries and progress updates will be handled. That keeps the installation team connected to the people managing access, materials and sequencing. Whether you are planning one project or a series of installations, a defined brief and clear reporting arrangements make the proposed working relationship easier to assess.

Useful to know

Your questions,
answered.

Can you provide labour-only support?

Yes, where the scope and programme are suitable. Labour-only and defined installation packages can be discussed, with responsibilities and commercial terms agreed in advance.

Do you support projects outside Nottingham?

Yes. We travel for commercial projects. Share the location, duration and scope so we can confirm availability and the practical arrangements.

What do you need to price a package?

A clear scope, drawings or quantities, site address, proposed dates and details of who supplies materials and access equipment help us prepare a useful quotation.

Can you review a package before the final programme is confirmed?

Yes. Share the available scope, drawings, locations and indicative dates. We can discuss the information still needed and any assumptions affecting a proposal, with final availability and programme arrangements confirmed as the project develops.

Can handover requirements follow our project format?

Share the required documents, templates and reporting arrangements when requesting a quotation. We can then clarify what is included, who provides each item and whether additional requirements need to be allowed for in the package.

Bring us into your next project.

Send the scope and programme to discuss availability, responsibilities and a practical installation package.
