Information in your enquiry

You may choose to provide your name, contact details, company, site postcode and project requirements. An energy assessment enquiry may also include your premises type and approximate electricity spend. Please provide only information relevant to your request.

How the enquiry form works

The form prepares an email on your device. It does not submit your details to Aegis through this website. The information is sent to us only when you choose to send the email from your email application. Your email provider’s terms and privacy arrangements apply when you use that application.

How we use information you send

We use enquiry information to respond, discuss your requirements, arrange surveys and prepare proposals. If you proceed with work, relevant information is used to plan and deliver that work and maintain the associated business records. We use service providers such as email and hosting providers where needed to run the business, and may share relevant project information with people involved in delivering the agreed work.

Retention and your choices

We retain correspondence and project records for as long as needed for the enquiry or work and applicable record-keeping requirements. Contact us to ask about information we hold, request a correction or raise a privacy concern. Any request will be considered under applicable data protection requirements.

Advertising measurement and cookie choices

We use a Google Ads tag (AW-18428787192) to help understand the effectiveness of our advertising. Advertising cookies, ad-related data sharing and personalisation are denied by default. If you select “Accept advertising” in our cookie notice, Google may use advertising cookies and measurement signals. You can decline without affecting the website, and you can change your choice using the Cookie settings control in the website footer.

The Google tag can still send limited, cookieless measurement signals to Google with consent denied; requests may include technical information such as your browser and page address. We save your cookie choice in your browser’s local storage so the notice does not repeatedly appear. This tag does not receive the details you type into our enquiry form, and preparing an email does not confirm it was sent. Our hosting provider may process ordinary access logs, including an IP address, browser information and pages requested, to operate and protect the website.
